What an exceptional meal we had made for us! Alison is very accommodating, friendly and makes amazing dishes. My family and I are cooks/food snobs, but Alison did not disappoint. She made a 3 course meal which included some of our favorite foods. Her chocolate Pecan Torte was out of this world! I cant wait to find any excuse to eat one of Alison’s delicious dishes. I highly recommend her for any event. Whether its a family meal or big event, you wont be disappointed!

Chef Alison presented a delightful cooking demo on Israeli cuisine at Kosherfest 2013.  Her sweet , charming, upbeat personality helped make our event a fun and joyous experience for everyone involved. Her presentation, sponsored by the Israel Economic Mission and The Israel Export Institute, focused on traditional Israeli brunch dishes with a new, modern twist that would elicit praise from any foodie.   With her own unique, innovative approach to cooking, and using some of the Israeli ingredients available in the U.S. market, she created an amazing menu including flavorful  tahini / olive dips and spread, a savory shakshuka, a mouthwatering couscous dish, scrumptious bourekas and delicious dried fig cupcakes topped with halvah cream cheese frosting that would win awards at any cooking contest for taste and originality.  It was a pleasure working with her.

Wednesday afternoon I was looking for the recipe for a veggie side and I stumbled upon this mushroom dish on your blog.  I decided to make it but I didn’t have enough mushrooms for the amt of ppl at the meal. I sauteed some broccoli and baked it with the mushrooms in the sauce.  Then I cut up and fried two potatoes in the liquid and added them to the dish.  It was a HUGE hit!  Thanks so much for the recipe!!!  I can’t wait to try more from your blog!

Alison was professional throughout the entire planning process and played close attention to every detail – she even made sure to include the birthday girl’s favorite foods from “lemon flavor” to kale in the recipes.
